The temporary exhibitions are generally of good quality. The shop offers a large selection of books and more. We also tested the cafe where we had a good time enjoying an excellent cappuccino, chocolate, lemonade and brownie.

Rachel Munn: Beautiful displays of historic art, mostly sculpture and painting. Special digital expo interwoven skillfully throughout the museum. Highlights included pieces by Claude Monet, and the Picasso. Lowlight was finding out that Van Goghs cow painting was out on display at another museum!Nice cafe and relaxation spots too :)

Emm Call: L'un des plus beaux musée de la région. La collection est impressionnante et les expo temporaires sont très intéressante, la dernière en date sur le thème du jeux vidéo est une réussite. Mike C: Honestly. Only entered this building because I need led to defecate. Which in itself was well worth the entry price, but I digress.After exiting the toilets, found the gallery to be rather enjoyable. With several exhibits that were truly notable and worthy of the entry price in their own right.Anyway, whether in need of an epic dump or not, this is well worth a visit, even if you only have a passing interest in “art”.

Sarah Murray: I didn't even enter. Faced with a queue and unfriendly security guys. I saw two tourists of far east Asian descent having every inch of their suitcases examined before anyone was even allowed to enter. The other security guy just looked on and told people to move (it was difficult there was a queue behind the ladies having their bags checked) when there was no space to move. Seemed aggressive and unnecessary (and I didn't feel people were welcome) so I left and didn't get chance to see any of the art within the building.

Niamh: Friendly staff who were very welcoming, however, there was a constant stench of sewage coming from the shower and the room was tiny. The door literally hit the bed as you opened it. I felt ill in the mornings from the smell in the bathroom. Avoid staying on the 3rd floor and beware of the location - we were approached on multiple occasions within a short space of time, which made the area feel unsafe. Would recommend staying more central. The hotel was probably the most disappointing experience of our trip.

II est situé à 25 mn à pied de la grand place de Lille et à proximité d'une station de métro. Les chambres sont confortables et le service très attentionné. Et le petit déjeuner propose des produits variés et de qualité.
TILLY LAWRENCE: Un peu excentré certes... mais super agréable endroit bien aménagé pour que tout le.monde puisse y trouver sa place. Et surtout une équipe au top. Que cela soit Nihad, Maureen, Elise ou encore Sarah toutce très gentil monde est là pour vous servir avec attention et aux petits soins pour leurs hôtes (écoute conseils cordialité convivialité respect et discrétion parfaites !! C'est rare qu sein d'une équipe). Je recommande vivement cet établissement où même le petit-déjeuner est sympa : accueil ( mêmes qualités que pour l'équipe de la reception ) et produits de qualité.A voir et à faire aussi parce que vous y verrez les vestiges d'un ancien hôtel particulier lillois à l'escalier monumental et à la salle de restaurant (Rococo restaurant) tout à fait dans le jus de 2nd Empire français.J'ai pour ma part déjà hâte du revenir bientôt !!!... et je tiens ici à remercier vivement toute l'équipe pour leurs attentions de ce week-end (ils en sauront les raisons) 👍👍 ⚘⚘👑

Johan V.S.: Bizarre situation. We are returning guests. We check in, the receptionist proposed to charge our credit card already and we agree. We put our luggage in the room, and go out in the city. 2 hours later we receive a message from home that we have to return immediately. We announce it at the reception and the receptionist, very friendly, tells us he has to charge the whole amount but that we can write to his supervisor to explain the situation and ask for a refund or at least a commercial geste. What we do.However the reception supervisor responds that she cannot do anything because the rooms were sold, and even if we were hardly in the rooms it has to be completely re-cleaned and the personnel was gone anyhow. I never expected a full refund, although the receptionist said it could be possible. But at least I expected something, like a voucher for a next stay. Even if it was 5 Euro. Just something symbolic. Like that we would feel like a valued customer and we would certainly come back. And I told her that. No reaction.Of course I will never put a foot inside this hotel, and it make me think twice for next trips if I will stay at Novotel, or the whole Accor group, and maybe go for Hilton or Marriott, where I'm always and in every hotel treated with respect like a valued customer.

Ludivine Mrq: We were very disappointed, indeed given the price of the room and the services that Novotel offers it did not meet our expectations. Indeed, we have nothing to say about the location which is perfect, nothing to say about the places to park except that these are paying. We were welcomed normally. Regarding the room we expected much better, to start in the toilets there was not even a toilet brush or lock on the door. Then, in the bathroom, the VMC was full of dust and the mirror was damaged and the soaps were almost empty. The second bed is a sofa bed which we appreciated however this one was not straight like a bowl, very uncomfortable. The main bed was also not very comfortable but that surely depends on each person. In the small fridge that you can find in the room there is not even a small bottle of water inside, only empty glasses. Adding streaming services to TV would be a plus. The room was overall clean but there was still dust in several places.Soundproofing level on the street side we did not hear anything however on the corridor side it was not the same thing. The curtains were quite blackout but the daylight came in all the same. Finally, we find that the value for money is absolutely not there, at 147€ per night, we wonder where the 4 stars advertised for this hotel are.
