Sophie H: Mon retour avec EF à Dublin :Cours en ligne plutôt qu'en présentiel :J’ai pris le programme cours intensif et, surprise : la plupart des cours ajoutés pour le programme intensif sont en visio. Le prof est le plus souvent dans une salle à l’école, mais les élèves sont éparpillés ailleurs à la recherche d’une place. La “bibliothèque” pour accueillir les étudiants pour les cours en ligne n’a que 6 places ! Donc on se cale comme on peut quelque part dans le lounge ou dans des salles vides ! Les cours en ligne sont lassants, aucune énergie de la part des professeurs et des élèves. Pourquoi faire des cours en ligne alors que des salles sont disponibles ?Staff "activités"... faible investissement :Il faut tout d’abord savoir que le STAFF "activités" de l’école de Dublin emploie des étudiants, anciens ou non ,de l’école.Quand on fait une activité avec eux qui consiste à visiter Dublin ou un site de l'Irlande, ces pseudo-guides lisent deux minutes leurs fiches puis arrêtent, s'ennuyant de leur propre lecture… ça fait mal pour une activité optionnelle parfois payante, compte tenu de la pauvreté des explications et de l'implication.Questionnaire de satisfaction au ... forcing ! :Toutes les semaines, je recevais par mail un questionnaire de satisfaction incorporant mon identité ; ne devrait-il pas être anonyme ? Une fois, EF est venu dans ma classe pour me remettre un questionnaire papier. Quelques jours plus tard, j'ai reçu ce mail : “We are missing a document. Please, do not hesitate to come to the reception as soon as it possible to complete it". Une camarade de classe avait reçu le même courriel, s’empressa d’aller à la réception ... c’était un questionnaire à remplir devant eux. Un comble !Roomate :J’étais dans une famille d’accueil adorable. Après le départ de la roomate que j'ai côtoyée pendant 2 semaines, ma host mother a relancé EF plusieurs fois pendant trois semaines afin de recevoir une nouvelle roomate, mais ce ne fut que promesses sans lendemain. Pourtant ça ne manque pas d’étudiants qui souhaitent une host family !D’autres camarades ont eu la surprise d’avoir une colocataire de même nationalité, alors que l’organisme précise aux réunions d'information nous placer dans une famille avec une personne étrangère à notre langue pour favoriser la pratique de l'anglais.4000 Euros, le prix de la désillusion :Comptez au moins 4000€ pour le choix de 6 semaines en cours intensifs. Quand on voit toutes les failles d’EF à Dublin, je suis effaré, c'est une farce !

berrot laurent: HONTEUX notre fils Arthur est actuellement à Vancouver pendant 9 mois pour étudier . Première famille , logés à 6 dans un garage aménagé, état insalubre , cuisine dégoûtante, des trous dans les murs et des rats autour du bâtiment. Après de longues négociations il est placé en résidence . Le 23 octobre retour dans une nouvelle famille . ENCORE PIRE trous dans le plafond, fuite d’eau ( l’eau coule sur le frigo ) branchement électrique avec des allonges qui pendent du dit plafond . 2 salles de bains dégoûtantes pour 10 étudiants , pas de petit dej le matin et le top pas de chauffage alors qu’il fait 10 degrés dehors . La solution de EF Vancouver … le retour en résidence mais en payant 5150€ alors que ce séjour nous a déjà coûté 20000€ . L’arnaque quoi ! A éviter si vous vous préoccupez de l’hygiène et la sécurité de vos enfants.

EF m'informe que :- le taux de francophones est inférieur à 10%.- Qu'elles seront 2 par familleRésultats :- Le taux de francophone est supérieur à 50% (il frôle le 100 % dans certains cours)- pour ma plus grande fille pas de famille mais un appartement type auberge espagnole (ce qui lui plaît)Bref déçu car ce n’est pas conforme à ce qu'il nous a été vendu.

He stays with the locals. EF organizes parties until 10 p.m. and after that the children are left to go home on their own. They roam the streets waiting for a bus. As it is more than 40 minutes away. Your children will return after midnight without an accompanying person.Second experience. My eldest son had to go to brighton. 4 days before departure you are forced to another destination. You are threatened on the phone and told to consider yourself lucky. On the day of departure, once he arrived at London station, he had to wait 9 a.m. for his transfer. We kept calling the emergency number but without concrete answers and after many attempts. Once at the residence, they have no places to accommodate the children. He's been gone since 9:30 a.m., it's 11:15 p.m. and still no solution from EF.Flee EF
