Specifically, I looked at the few negative reviews received and the responses from the manager of this account. I admired that the restaurant stands up for their food, as the reality is that the customer does not necessarily always have to be right.I had a 3-course meal, and simply put it was of high-quality, well presented and delicious. You can easily notice that they really care about their food here.The starter was light and flavorful, the Welsh was generous and outstanding, and it is impossible to forget about the dessert which was the recommendation of the chef. Irma Bosman-Kooring: Bij een weekendje weg hoort altijd een goed restaurant. Deze keer werd het L'Arc in Lille. Superb! Fijne, ruime tweepersoonstafel. Sfeervol restaurant met semi openkeuken. Compacte kaart. Gerechten waren uitstekend. Bekende ingredienten in een onverwachte uitvoering. Mooie wijnen. Attent personeel, dus wat wil je nog meer. Een echte aanrader! Heb echter wel een puntje van kritiek; het tempo was iets te hoog.

N: Restaurant had a good atmosphere. Unfortunately, this wasn’t matched by the food.The starter, bread covered with roasted vegetables, was very tasty.The mains, tortellini stuffed with cheese with a truffle sauce and spaghetti with a seafood sauce (mussels, salted fish and octopus) were bad.The tortellini was not well made and could have been shop bought. We didnt finish this dish.The spaghetti was in a tomato sauce with salted fish, mussels & octopus. There was no salted fish visible in the sauce and the mussels didnt appear to have been cleaned. The tomato sauce was very gritty. The body of the octopus was very tough. After a couple of mouthfuls, this dish was left.The waiters tried to avoid coming to our table when they saw we had left the food. They did not try to rectify the situation or offer any apology.Not a good experience.

Vianney Mandret: J’ai toujours apprécié l’annexe, son cadre chic et chaleureux avec sa cuisine ouverte, ses livres de cuisine à consulter….. un service attentionné et efficace, une carte des vins très cohérente et équilibrée. Dans l’assiette l’effet est identique, la carte courte augure de la fraîcheur et de la saisonnalité, les recettes sont originales, mon seul bémol serait le petit manque de pep de twist à mon goût pour emporter les plats dans un niveau supérieur.Globalement une belle expérience à renouveler sans hésitation.
