Specifically, I looked at the few negative reviews received and the responses from the manager of this account. I admired that the restaurant stands up for their food, as the reality is that the customer does not necessarily always have to be right.I had a 3-course meal, and simply put it was of high-quality, well presented and delicious. You can easily notice that they really care about their food here.The starter was light and flavorful, the Welsh was generous and outstanding, and it is impossible to forget about the dessert which was the recommendation of the chef. Fantastic.As for the service, I was treated very well, and the servers had no issue speaking English.If I ever get the chance to come back to Lille, there is no doubt that I will be returning to this place!

Il a été très professionnel, patient et de bon conseil en plus d'être très souriant!Concernant les plats l'entrée a base de betteraves et de viande des Grisons était très bonne (et très joliment présentée).La pièce de boeuf grillée en plat était excellente, petit bémol par contre pour l'accompagnement de légumes sans vraiment de saveur et beaucoup trop cuits (quand les brocolis commencent à ressembler à une purée verte, c'est pas top, mais bon ça n'a pas non plus gâché le plat).Le café gourmand était top (j'avais du mal a choisir entre les desserts mais du coup c'était réglé avec le café gourmand qui propose les 3 desserts en version miniature, tous excellents)Bravo a l'équipe en cuisine et en salle.Je recommande !

Alain Nemnom: This restaurant is really good and not to miss in Lille.The beef steak is exceptional with the pepper sauce. The Welsh is also very good, u can really taste the beer in the cheese, that's what I loved the most about it. We also ordered some appetizers and everything was great. Dani Moon: The food was really incredible, but the whole thing took far too long.We (as a party of 2) ordered the 7 course menu but all in all there are actually about 10 courses when you include aperitifs and pre dessert etc. We were there over 3 and a half hours, we were eating fast but there was often 30-40 minutes between courses making it feel very slow and long and not the standard I expected from a restaurant like this. By the time we finished the mains I was exhausted and tempted to skip the two dessert courses and just go home.The staff were friendly and very nice, explained all the menu and each course in English. Overall the kitchen just let down the experience on the timing of this as I didn’t expect to be the first into the restaurant and still there close to closing time.Overall, I probably would not go back or recommend this as an experience to friends and family despite the good food.

KIK THIKIK: Une expérience décevante au restaurant Clarance à LilleJ'ai récemment eu l'occasion de dîner au restaurant Clarance à Lille, et malheureusement, mon expérience n'a pas été à la hauteur de mes attentes. Bien que le menu proposé soit dans la moyenne, plusieurs aspects du restaurant m'ont laissé perplexe.Tout d'abord, le service au Clarance ne mérite certainement pas une étoile Michelin. Les tables étaient improvisées avec une plaque, ce qui donnait une impression de manque d'attention aux détails. De plus, la serveuse, dont les lèvres semblent avoir été exagérément gonflées par des injections de Botox, a refusé de nous fournir une cuillère pour notre soupe. Il est tout simplement inconcevable qu'un restaurant de ce calibre ne puisse pas fournir les couverts nécessaires pour déguster un plat.En ce qui concerne le confort, j'ai été déçu de constater des taches sur le tissu des chaises. Cela témoigne d'un manque d'entretien et d'hygiène, ce qui est inacceptable pour un établissement prétendant à une étoile Michelin. De plus, les prix des vins proposés étaient excessivement élevés, ce qui a ajouté à ma déception globale.Bien que le cadre du restaurant soit acceptable, j'ai appris avec regret que le véritable chef cuisinier n'était plus en poste. Cela explique peut-être pourquoi la qualité des plats servis était seulement moyenne. Il est clair que sans un chef talentueux et créatif derrière les fourneaux, le restaurant Clarance risque certainement de perdre son étoile Michelin.En conclusion, mon expérience au restaurant Clarance à Lille a été décevante. Le menu proposé était moyen, le service ne méritait pas une étoile Michelin et divers problèmes, tels que des tables improvisées, des taches sur les chaises et des prix élevés pour les vins, ont contribué à cette déception. De plus, l'absence du chef cuisinier original ne fait qu'accentuer les lacunes de cet établissement. À moins de sérieuses améliorations, il semble probable que le restaurant Clarance perdra son étoile Michelin à l'avenir.

Une présentation plus que basique et une absence de séduction et de créativité pour 150 euros par personne c est un peu cher payé ! Nous avions été enchanté lors de notre premier passage mais avons cette fois ci une énorme déception, sauf pour le service qui reste très bien.
