A little regret not having tried the 7 courses when we saw the pasta cooked in the wheel of parmesan cheese and flambéed. The dishes are full of taste and perfectly seasoned, The flavors are worked to perfection, the pre-dessert and the dessert were really great, the staff is very friendly, the service is efficient, the place is pretty. Dani Moon: The food was really incredible, but the whole thing took far too long.We (as a party of 2) ordered the 7 course menu but all in all there are actually about 10 courses when you include aperitifs and pre dessert etc. We were there over 3 and a half hours, we were eating fast but there was often 30-40 minutes between courses making it feel very slow and long and not the standard I expected from a restaurant like this. By the time we finished the mains I was exhausted and tempted to skip the two dessert courses and just go home.The staff were friendly and very nice, explained all the menu and each course in English. Overall the kitchen just let down the experience on the timing of this as I didn’t expect to be the first into the restaurant and still there close to closing time.Overall, I probably would not go back or recommend this as an experience to friends and family despite the good food.

Unfortunately, this wasn’t matched by the food.The starter, bread covered with roasted vegetables, was very tasty.The mains, tortellini stuffed with cheese with a truffle sauce and spaghetti with a seafood sauce (mussels, salted fish and octopus) were bad.The tortellini was not well made and could have been shop bought. We didnt finish this dish.The spaghetti was in a tomato sauce with salted fish, mussels & octopus. There was no salted fish visible in the sauce and the mussels didnt appear to have been cleaned. The tomato sauce was very gritty. The body of the octopus was very tough. After a couple of mouthfuls, this dish was left.The waiters tried to avoid coming to our table when they saw we had left the food. They did not try to rectify the situation or offer any apology.Not a good experience.

Emilie Bertin: Nous sommes allés à "Autour de vous" un lundi soir et nous en sommes ressortis conquis. L'endroit est sympathique, les serveurs sont charmants et efficaces. Mais le plus remarquable reste la cuisine italienne qui est servie dans ce restaurant. Un véritable délice de l'entrée jusqu'au dessert ! Un véritable sans faute qui nous a permis de passer une agréable soirée.

Vianney Mandret: I have always appreciated the annex, its chic and warm setting with its open kitchen, its cookbooks to consult ..... an attentive and efficient service, a very coherent and balanced wine list. On the plate the effect is identical, the short menu bodes well for freshness and seasonality, the recipes are original, my only downside would be the slight lack of twist to my taste to take the dishes to a higher level.Overall a great experience to repeat without hesitation.

akem akem: Comment n’est il pas possible de boire un verre à n’importe quel moment de la journée dans un hôtel 5 étoiles? Je n’ai jamais connu cela. Réponse de la réception : nous avons un bar en sortant de l’hôtel à gauche mais il n’ouvre qu’à 17h30!Et bien nous sommes partis boire un verre ailleurs….
Bruno Brottier: Hotel superbe, service au top, "normal" pour cette catégorie.Nous y étions pour un brunch spécial, réunissant plusieurs chefs faisant découvrir la cuisine de plusieurs pays.La pluie nous a fait passer de la cour aux salles intérieures, tout a été géré de main de maitre, efficacement et sans stress apparent, sourires et amabilités.

KIK THIKIK: Une expérience décevante au restaurant Clarance à LilleJ'ai récemment eu l'occasion de dîner au restaurant Clarance à Lille, et malheureusement, mon expérience n'a pas été à la hauteur de mes attentes. Bien que le menu proposé soit dans la moyenne, plusieurs aspects du restaurant m'ont laissé perplexe.Tout d'abord, le service au Clarance ne mérite certainement pas une étoile Michelin. Les tables étaient improvisées avec une plaque, ce qui donnait une impression de manque d'attention aux détails. De plus, la serveuse, dont les lèvres semblent avoir été exagérément gonflées par des injections de Botox, a refusé de nous fournir une cuillère pour notre soupe. Il est tout simplement inconcevable qu'un restaurant de ce calibre ne puisse pas fournir les couverts nécessaires pour déguster un plat.En ce qui concerne le confort, j'ai été déçu de constater des taches sur le tissu des chaises. Cela témoigne d'un manque d'entretien et d'hygiène, ce qui est inacceptable pour un établissement prétendant à une étoile Michelin. De plus, les prix des vins proposés étaient excessivement élevés, ce qui a ajouté à ma déception globale.Bien que le cadre du restaurant soit acceptable, j'ai appris avec regret que le véritable chef cuisinier n'était plus en poste. Cela explique peut-être pourquoi la qualité des plats servis était seulement moyenne. Il est clair que sans un chef talentueux et créatif derrière les fourneaux, le restaurant Clarance risque certainement de perdre son étoile Michelin.En conclusion, mon expérience au restaurant Clarance à Lille a été décevante. Le menu proposé était moyen, le service ne méritait pas une étoile Michelin et divers problèmes, tels que des tables improvisées, des taches sur les chaises et des prix élevés pour les vins, ont contribué à cette déception. De plus, l'absence du chef cuisinier original ne fait qu'accentuer les lacunes de cet établissement. À moins de sérieuses améliorations, il semble probable que le restaurant Clarance perdra son étoile Michelin à l'avenir.

Une présentation plus que basique et une absence de séduction et de créativité pour 150 euros par personne c est un peu cher payé !
