Olivier Goossens: Our stay was OK for one night. We didn't sleep very well because our room was too hot, without any decent aircon or the possibility to open the window. Shower and TV were broken. I would rate the hotel 3* instead of 4*.At the breakfast unfortunately I had a piece of glass in my fruit salad, which lead to bleeding gums in my mouth. We told the waitress, but she simply didn't care. It made the rest of our day in Lille very unpleasant. I cannot help but feel that this incident was handled in a very unprofessional way by the staff.

Je suis donc repartie encore plus fatiguée qu'à mon arrivée.1Enfin, ayant réservée via Voyages privées, je bénéficiais de plusieurs cocktails offerts. Cependant l'agent à qui j'ai demandé mes coupons semblait agacé de ma demande et à d'abord tenté de me donner la moitié de mon dû avant de me céder tous mes bons de manière désagréable.Son attitude reste néanmoins un cas isolé, le reste du personnel se montrant très professionnel et très serviable. Il est quand même TRES regrettable d'avoir l'impression de déranger et d'importuner un agent d'accueil, surtout dans un hôtel de ce rang.Outre ces points négatifs, le petit-déjeuner est varié et les cocktails tres rafraîchissants.Je reste néanmoins déçue de mon séjour.
Danny Balbini: I have looked at the other reviews, and honestly don't understand why there are such negative reviews of this city-centre establishment.We hit a crisis with the Eurostar. This lovely little hotel was booked for us by the Eurostar because it's apparently the hotel that the staff stay at when traveling.Less than 2 minutes walk from the Lille train station, this hotel was accommodating from the very moment we walked in. A calming oasis in the busy city center, with calm lo-fi playing and smiley and friendly staff behind the check-in desk and bar for drinks. The attendant booked us in quickly, handed us our room key and added "You've got the best room", exactly what we want to hear.The executive suite was spacious, with good wifi, a large bathroom and drinks and snacks waiting for us. It was so silent after a day of stress that you could watch the busy city down below but hear only a pin drop.The shower in the morning was clean and powerful, exactly what you needed after a soft and quiet night's sleep in the spacious double bed. I can't give it a 5 star review however, because there are plenty of other hotel rooms I've stayed in that are much better.We woke up feeling like the staff had looked after us, and thanked them in the morning for their service.A really great hotel for a city transfer after the Eurostar.

Elle s’est sauvée sans me regarder quand je lui ai demandé de s’expliquer sur ses sarcasmes. Je préfère les gens qui assument et disent les choses en face. Par ailleurs c’était complètement injustifié puisque j’ai été polie.
