Peter Van Renterghem: De Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts et Industries Textiles( E.N.S.A.I.T.) opende zijn deuren in1889 en voldeed aan de wens om in Roubaix een onderwijsinstelling op te richten met nationale uitstraling.De verwantschap tussen de kunst - en de industrie blijkt ook uit de voorgevel : de bas- reliëfs gebeeldhouwd onder de daklijst stellen stuk voor stuk werkinstrumenten voor van textielarbeiders ( het spoelhuisje ) en kunstenaars ( penselen en schilderspalet ) .Die laatsten gingen hier echter weg in de jaren ´70 om zich verder te groeperen in een specifieke school voor toegepaste kunsten , de Ecole Supérieure des Arts Appliqués et du Textile ( E.S.A.A.T.).De E.N.S.A.I.T. leidt vandaag 60 % van de Franse textielingenieurs op.Voor de school staat een" Alebryes ".Alebryes werden in 1936 geboren uit de geest van de MexicaanPedro López.Volgens de legende droomde hij , op de rand van de dood , van een bos bevolkt door deze wezens die hem vergezelden bij zijn terugkeer naar bewustzijn . Lucie Vialet: Je ne pensais pas écrire cela un jour mais... Je suis plus que déçu par cette école. La gestion de la vie étudiante, des plannings, des stages est proches du néant. Mon avis en rejoint d'autres : il n'y a que très peu de suivi de étudiants et le côté pédagogique est inexistant. Il a fallu faire des pieds et des mains pour obtenir mon contrat d'alternance signé en temps en en heure auprès de l'administration... En cas de besoin ou d'imprévu, les délais de réponse sont à rallonge.Au final, il faut s'en cesse relancer, être dans un rapport de force pour obtenir quelque chose d'assez simple finalement.D'autres personnes ont eu des soucis similaires voire pires.
Sam Derache: Mépris des étudiants. Les journées portes ouvertes ne sont que de la poudre aux yeux pour les visiteurs. Ce qui se passe dans cet école est inacceptable : aucun suivi des étudiants, des menaces, impossible de rencontrer le directeur de l'école...

Auri Culaire: Dites, les rageux, vos avis de "médiocrité" reflètent surtout votre incapacité à vous adapter et à suivre cette formation! L'ENSAIT ne doit pas nous rendre exceptionnels ou intelligents! Pour ceci, soit nous avons un capacitaire initial, soit non, comme vous... L'ENSAIT nous donne des premières bases afin d'intégrer en stage des entreprises dans des secteurs spécifiques, mais la performance en elle-même et la carrière qui s'en suit ne dépendent que de VOUS ! Je travaille dans l'industrie du Luxe à un haut poste, je manage des ingés mines, centrale & Co alors merci l'ENSAIT. Au passage, j'espère ne jamais vous croiser en entretien, avec cet état d'esprit vous n'êtes assurément pas de bons éléments dans une équipe. On a tout à fait le droit de ne pas apprécier une formation, mais vos mots dépassent la critique constructive et intelligente. Vous n'aviez qu'à intégrer Polytechnique, mais attendez... Peut-être que vous n'en aviez pas les moyens intellectuels ;)? En ce qui concerne la vie étudiante, c'est encore une fois une problématique personnelle et non une responsabilité de l'école. Votre capacité à vous amuser et vous faire des amis ne dépend que de vous et votre potentiel social. Je vous souhaite néanmoins une bonne continuation professionnelle, vous êtes jeunes, j'aime à penser que vous allez murir et évoluer... PS : quand on se permet de juger la médiocrité d'un système éducatif, la moindre des choses est d'écrire sans fautes...
abasi yecef: Ecole loin de tout=caserne et dans lequel on n’apprend rien. Enseignement et ambiance médiocres . Nous entrons à cette école des étudiants et nous en sortons des cons!! Il ne faut pas mentir. Un diplôme d'ingénieur de cette école vaut par la suite un bon surveillant au collège. Je l'ai bien écu.
Schaller Peltier: Vie étudiante plus que médiocre. Cours,TD ou TP non conforme au futur métier. Mépris des étudiants. Des enseignants chercheurs qui font des zèles et qui n'ont aucune expérience dans l'enseignement ni dans la pédagogie. Ils s’intéressent à la recherche plutôt qu’à l’avenir des étudiants. Bref École à fuir comme la peste et le choléra réunis !!!
Alexis Peltier: qui n'ont aucune expérience dans l’enseignement.Un point important : celui de la formation tant en enseignement qu'en recherche. Il est tout à fait anormal que les universitaires n'aient reçu aucune formation pédagogique. Certains maître de conférences, recrutés dès le passage de leur thèse, ont une spécialité tellement "pointue" qu'ils seraient même incapables d'enseigner à des élèves de terminale de lycée. Ce phénomène est ensuite accentué par le désintérêt lié au fait que seuls les travaux de recherches sont pris en compte pour obtenir une promotion. Le CAPES ou l'agrégation semble être le niveau minimal requis, ce qui est loin d'être le cas actuellement précisément ils ne sont pas pris en compte dans l'évaluation de chacun (alors que c'est le cas dans les Universités anglo-saxonnes
