E F: J'avais réservé le restaurant pour 2 personnes hier soir dans ce très bel endroit à l'ambiance relaxante.Le parking de l'hôtel nous a permis de ne pas tourner interminablement dans Lille.Nous avons pris l'apéritif dans les salons du bar.Nous avons été accueillis par le barman qui était d'une gentillesse, attention et professionnalisme exceptionnels.Nous sommes ensuite passés au restaurant où nous nous sommes régalés, tout était parfait et délicieux de plus avec des serveuses très prévenantes souriantes et attentionnés.Le réceptionniste était également très souriant et bienveillant.Bref nous avons passé une merveilleuse soirée grâce à la qualité du personnel de cet endroit atypique et à la qualité de la prestation avec de plus un excellent rapport qualité/prix.C'est certain nous y reviendrons !
Emily Dobry: This was a lovely location. It was once a convent that is now a hotel. Absolutely gorgeous architecture. The location is within walking distance of many wonderful sites in Lille, including the citadel. The staff was friendly and helpful. We went in late June, though, and the rooms did not have air conditioning, so it was very hot at night. Aside from the heat, was pleasant and comfortable, and the free breakfast was fantastic.
AL 1: Vraiment déçu ! La chambre que l’on nous a donnée était très très très petite , l’hôtel a mal vieilli, il mériterait un bon lifting. Côté petit déjeuner rien d’extraordinaire, vraiment le strict minimum même pas de vrais jus d’orange . Seul le cadre et l’emplacement sont biens.

Erik Sudre: Quelle déception ! Ne mérite plus 4*J'ai passé 2 jours en convention (sans y dormir) au Couvent des Mimimes.Arrivée à l'hôtel : La cour de réception a l'extérieur est un vulgaire parking. On se croirait à l'arrière d'hôpital ou d'une caserne. Moche.Réception de l'hôtel : on voit que ça a été un établissement de standing, mais ce n'est très frais. Dans les vitrines de souvenirs, des bouquets en fleurs sèches qui s'efritrent, poussière sur les etages. Receptioniste pas très aimable.Arrivé dans le cloître, très belle bâtisse, ça a de l'allure !En revanche, entre le bar central, la mezzanine, les paravents pour l'espace restaurant et petit déjeuner, c'est très confus et cela fait bricolage des espaces.Le barman est débordé : une table de 6 a côté de moi... Il fait 3 fois le va et vient pour servir : les plateaux n'existent pas ici. J'attends 15mn mon cocktail. Le barman ne connait pas la recette, il est le nez dessus, derrière son comptoir.Dîner le soir : ce n'est pas bon, et le dessert est une sorte de gâteau spongieux au chocolat, là, mauvais. C'est de la nourriture type collectivités, servi à la mode restaurant chic.Le lendemain, déjeuner du séminaire sur le mode buffet/cocktails : joli aspect, mais carrément pas bon ! Au secours. Sauf 2 ou trois canapés sales et les miniardises sucrées. Première fois que je vois une sorte de poubelle de table a côté des plateaux où certaines personnes on recraché les canapés...Bref une catastrophe.Seul bon point : belle salle de réunion, climatisée (ce n'est pas le cas du cloître ou il faut bien chaud en été '..) et bon équipement vidéo.Cet établissement n'est absolument plus au niveau de sa réputation passée.A éviter, SURTOUT LA RESTAURATION.

Hotel payant a 21€ pour 1 nuit ( ou 24h c'est pareil)Café soluble en chambre...Que de prestations décevante au point de vue du prix qu'on paye pour la nuit. Dino Zarus: Mariage à l'auberge fin mai 2023Nous avons opté pour une cérémonie laïque dans la verrière, suivi d'un cocktail prestige pour 110 personnes + Diner et soirée (menu "and i love her" pour 82 personnes) + hôtel et brunch le lendemain midi.Seclinois depuis plus de 25 ans, nous voulions faire un "mariage local" chez nous avec des produits locaux; l'auberge du Forgeron était une évidence !Un an a y penser pratiquement tous les jours; quelques RDV préparatoires avec M.Belot, propriétaire de l'Auberge.Jusqu'au jour J où l'on croit avoir tout pensé, orchestré chaque moment mais grâce au professionnalisme des équipes de l'Auberge et les prestataires recommandés par Mr Belot, nous avons réussi à lâcher prise et ainsi profiter réellement de chaque instants.De l'aveu de tous, ce fut un excellent mariage. Pour nous c'était NOTRE mariage; à notre image avec nos exigences et notre simplicité. Paddock Club: Sélectionné par le Bib Gourmand, on se trompe rarement, nous avons pris le menu 7 services.D'un avis général c'est une très bonne table, un petit bémol pour le service qui devrait être plus discret pour un restaurant gastronomique.Des plats recherchés, bien maîtrisés mais qui pour nous pourrait être un peu plus poussé dans les goûts ... et dans les assaisonnements.Le prix du menu 7 services est tout à fait acceptable, par contre le supplément pour l'accompagnement des vins est exagéré.Mais attention, ces remarques s'adressent à un public averti, car dans l'ensemble c'est une très bonne adresse !L'apéritif maison est une tuerie !

L'absence de piscine est sans doute le seul point négatif et on regrette aussi que l'on ne nous ait pas proposé de service bagagerie à notre arrivée. Nous avons dû monter nos bagages dans la chambre nous mêmes. Malgré cela, nous reviendrons les yeux fermés à l'occasion. Merci pour ce précieux moment.

Fournier Emilie: Nous avons passé une nuit très agréable dans cet hôtel.La literie est de très bonne qualité (2 matelas avec un surmatelas, grands oreillers), la salle de bain spacieuse (la baignoire est tout simplement gigantesque, du jamais vu!), Il y a le nécessaire dans la chambre (machine à café avec des capsules, du thé, une bouilloire, serviettes, peignoir, chaussons, télé...).L'espace bien être est peut être un peu décevant si vous venez spécialement pour le "spa". celia boulanger: Très bonne expérience à l'hôtel Barrière de Lille. Nous avons été très bien accueillis. La chambre était propre, silencieuse et avec une belle vue sur le parc. Nous avons eu de petites attentions très agréables (petits chocolats pour l'anniversaire de mon conjoint, accueil personnalisé, bouteilles d'eau). Nous avons également profité du restaurant La terrasse du parc pour un dîner et 2 petits-déjeuners, ainsi que du casino. Nous sommes aussi allés au SPA pour le hammam et le sauna (il n'y avait pas grand-monde, ce qui était appréciable). Tout était sur place et donc très pratique. Le Vieux Lille est également situé à 15-20 min à pieds de l'hôtel, ce qui permet de ne pas utiliser sa voiture. Pour conclure, je recommande cet hôtel.
