We put our luggage in the room, and go out in the city. 2 hours later we receive a message from home that we have to return immediately. We announce it at the reception and the receptionist, very friendly, tells us he has to charge the whole amount but that we can write to his supervisor to explain the situation and ask for a refund or at least a commercial geste. Then, in the bathroom, the VMC was full of dust and the mirror was damaged and the soaps were almost empty. The second bed is a sofa bed which we appreciated however this one was not straight like a bowl, very uncomfortable. The main bed was also not very comfortable but that surely depends on each person. In the small fridge that you can find in the room there is not even a small bottle of water inside, only empty glasses. Adding streaming services to TV would be a plus. The room was overall clean but there was still dust in several places.Soundproofing level on the street side we did not hear anything however on the corridor side it was not the same thing. The curtains were quite blackout but the daylight came in all the same. Finally, we find that the value for money is absolutely not there, at 147€ per night, we wonder where the 4 stars advertised for this hotel are.

Hugo Fortin: Nous passions une nuit dans cet hôtel tout à côté de la gare Lille Europe. Son emplacement est parfait.Les plus:- situation idéale. Nous étions a moins de 5 minutes à pieds du départ de l’Eurostar pour Londres. En traversant le pont, on est aussi à moins de 10 minutes à pied des restos et du centre de Lille.- le check-in était rapide.- personnel sympathique. Les gens étaient gentils de la réception au personnel lors du déjeuner. C’était parfait.- le déjeuner inclus était complet: œufs, saucisses, viennoiseries, yogourts, jus, etc.- les chambres sont propres et modernes. Nous avions un chambre avec un lit double et deux lits simples. Il y avait suffisamment d’espace pour notre famille de 4.
