Établissement soigné avec ce petit parfum caractéristique du groupe Barrière. Personnel discret mais très attentif au bien-être des clients. Nous avons passé un super séjour. L'absence de piscine est sans doute le seul point négatif et on regrette aussi que l'on ne nous ait pas proposé de service bagagerie à notre arrivée. Nous avons dû monter nos bagages dans la chambre nous mêmes. Malgré cela, nous reviendrons les yeux fermés à l'occasion. Merci pour ce précieux moment.

We have a romantic wedding anniversary trip, and it was very nice to come back from a walk to find champagne and congratulations from the hotel team in the room. A big thank-you !Everything is done with good taste, sympathy, attention to detail and beauty. The hotel is very concerned about the protection of the environment and offers an interesting concept, consisting in choosing to renew the bath linen less frequently, thus giving access to a selection of drinks to be enjoyed at the bar, via a token system at give it to the bartender.I booked through the hotel website which entitled us to a bottle of tasting beer delivered to the room. To tell the truth, I was not aware of it and it was a very good surprise, widely appreciated.Two restaurants, including a semi-gastronomic one, are accessible on the ground floor, but don't forget to book. However, if you do not have the courage to go downstairs as the rooms are comfortable and welcoming, you can have room service.Treat yourself to the colibri, pastry and bakery located on the ground floor also and offering pastries of a very high gastronomic level.Pets have recently been accepted and it is with great pleasure that we came to relax for the weekend with our cat, who would have also given five stars if he had been able. Victor Martin: Superbe hotel Mama Shelter, probablement un des meilleurs en France. L’effet low cost de certains Mama Shelter (Bordeaux par exemple) ne se ressent pas dans celui de Lille qui est très moderne, bien équipé et spacieux. Je recommande les chambres Médium qui sont suffisamment grandes, ainsi que le petit déjeuner assez copieux (malgré un espace limité pour circuler autour du buffet, et un réassort parfois limité). La réception m’a permis exceptionnellement un early Check in tres pratique et gratuit.Enfin la grande proximité avec la gare est un véritable atout pour cet hôtel.

J'ai dû poser un billet de 200€ simplement pour que le DJ me mette une musique, pour que 10 personnes viennent effectuer un mini flashmob et pour réserver une table pour 4 (je précise que la terrasse était vide).L'équipe étant au courant du projet, je n'ai même pas été servie à table que se soit pour les boissons / plat. Un responsable s'était engagé au près de moi pour nous offrir un cocktail / shot (au vu du prix que l'on avait payé pour ??). Au final, il à simplement fait comme s'il ne nous connaissait pas, s'est moquait de nous, ne nous à pas dis bonjour et nous à fait payé plus de 50€ pour les shots (merci !).Je viens en prévention pour les futurs personnes qui voudraient organiser un événement dans cet institut. Faites attention, c'est dommage, l'hypocrisie de certains personnels m'a fait perdre beaucoup d'argent inutilement. Les services proposés n'étant absolument respectés.

I waited for the roasted cauliflower almost an hour, but eventually it wasn’t properly cooked: too hard and crunchy. Also it was the only vegetarian option in the menu besides the salad. This is not a hotel with a disco, this is a disco with some beds.If your idea of fun is to stay awake until 2 am in your bed listening to YMCA and old top 40 hits, be my guest. But I cannot stress this enough: the music is so loud that it goes through the elevator shafts.We are very active people that explore the city and use our hotel room to energize for the next day of exploration. You cannot get rest in this hotel.I think the worst part of it that we checked the Google Reviews whilst this was going on and we see that this has been a complaint for several years!!They still have not fixed this and use cute little marketing talk in their replies saying 'mama will fix it'. So 'Mama' is very aware of this issue.But it still is going on? So mama does not care, mama has never cared and mama will never care in the future either.

Johan V.S.: Bizarre situation. We are returning guests. We check in, the receptionist proposed to charge our credit card already and we agree. We put our luggage in the room, and go out in the city. 2 hours later we receive a message from home that we have to return immediately. We announce it at the reception and the receptionist, very friendly, tells us he has to charge the whole amount but that we can write to his supervisor to explain the situation and ask for a refund or at least a commercial geste. What we do. Supervisor, Marie Ange Sagniez, responds that she cannot do anything because the rooms were sold, and even if we were hardly in the rooms it has to be completely re-cleaned and the personnel was gone anyhow. I never expected a full refund, although the receptionist said it could be possible. But at least I expected something, like a voucher for a next stay. Even if it was 5 Euro. Just something symbolic. Like that we would feel like a valued customer and we would certainly come back. And I told her that. No reaction. How polite. Of course I will never put a foot inside this hotel, and it make me think twice for next trips if I will stay at Novotel, or the whole Accor group, and maybe go for Hilton or Marriott, where I'm always and in every hotel treated with respect like a valued customer.

Ludivine Mrq: We were very disappointed, indeed given the price of the room and the services that Novotel offers it did not meet our expectations. Indeed, we have nothing to say about the location which is perfect, nothing to say about the places to park except that these are paying. We were welcomed normally. Regarding the room we expected much better, to start in the toilets there was not even a toilet brush or lock on the door. Then, in the bathroom, the VMC was full of dust and the mirror was damaged and the soaps were almost empty. The second bed is a sofa bed which we appreciated however this one was not straight like a bowl, very uncomfortable. The main bed was also not very comfortable but that surely depends on each person. In the small fridge that you can find in the room there is not even a small bottle of water inside, only empty glasses. Adding streaming services to TV would be a plus. The room was overall clean but there was still dust in several places.Soundproofing level on the street side we did not hear anything however on the corridor side it was not the same thing. The curtains were quite blackout but the daylight came in all the same. Finally, we find that the value for money is absolutely not there, at 147€ per night, we wonder where the 4 stars advertised for this hotel are.

Antoine Vangermée: Nuit à l’hôtel en couple pour le week-end (nuit de samedi à dimanche). Les points positifs : l’hôtel est très bien situé (environ 500m de la place de Bethune) en plein centre ville, le personnel est accueillant et le rapport prestation/prix du petit-déjeuner est top. Points négatifs : les économiseurs d’eau sont trop efficaces. Résultat, un filet d’eau pour se laver. Dans la chambre 408, le second double vitrage qui sert à isoler la chambre des bruits de la rue était « bancal ». Une cale en carton à suffit pour le remettre droit mais après une longue journée, je ne m’attendais pas à bricoler.

Marie Lalou: Nous avons passé une nuit dans la suite terre.La chambre est propre, le lit est confortable, serviettes et peignoirs à disposition.Il y a aussi un mini bar dans la chambre avec jus de fruit, eau et muffins.Le petit déjeuner est en supplément de 12€, il est très copieux et bon.La piscine et le spa privatif sont propre et agréable.L’hôte est très gentille et souriante.Endroit très calme.Le seul point négatif est pour se garer, nous avons mis un long moment avant de trouver une place le soir ( après 22 h 30); nous avons réussi à trouvé un petit parking mais assez loin.
laure cln: Besoin de souffler un peu je me suis fait plaisir pour une nuit et grand bien m'en a pris, quel bien cela m'a fait. J'ai lu les avis et suis étonnée par certains, logement d'une propreté impeccable tant au niveau de la chambre que de la piscine et du bain à remous. D'ailleurs tout commence à l'accueil où l'on vous demande de vous déchausser et où l'on vous prête des chaussons.... parquet ciré, on passe par la piscine et la déja on est transporté. Chambre Terre, tout est fait pour que vous vous y sentiez bien on a envie de rester le visage dans les serviettes tellement celles-ci sont douces et sentent merveilleusement bon, les peignoirs sont à votre disposition, drap en satin de soie... douche à l'italienne et douche côté piscine, un petit frigo avec jus de fruits, bouteilles d'eau et cookie vous y attend mais nous avons choisi l'option avec déjeuner, gargantuesque et complet. C'est simple vous ouvrez la porte d'entrée vous êtes directement à piscine, vous ouvrez porte coté salon vous êtes dans bain à remous... et petit plus une petite terrasse/jardin à ciel découvert... L'hôtesse est très disponible et n'a pas hésité à nous proposer un parapluie, nous conseiller sur restaurant, tram etc...

Bryce Ma: Erreur de date lors de ma réservation donc demande 48h à l’avance de modification : refusée car établissement complet.Je demande donc l’annulation sans frais oralement puis par mail : aucune réponse.Prélèvement le lendemain sans aucun retour et surtout sans avoir bénéficié de la chambre qui a due être relouée entre temps …C’est commercialement lamentable mais je ne regrette pas finalement en voyant les commentaires ci-dessous …Merci à Booking d’être juste et de savoir remédier à ces pratiques anti commerciales.

morgan morgan: Séjour du samedi au dimanche bon accueil mais 155e pour ça, sa ne les vaut pas du tout jaccuzi privatif dégueulasse, beaucoup trop de chlore étais allergique j'ai pas beaucoup profiter piscine sale également, terrasse dangereuse j'ai faillis passer au travers plusieurs fois petit déjeuner 0 juste croissant et petit pain devant la porte sans boisson le café de la chambre avait goût de savon et ne parlons pas du thé.
